Hello Friends,
What a week it has been here at Joyous Acres!
Mother Nature certainly kept us on our toes. We experienced an intense storm that dropped nearly 6 inches of rain in just a few short hours. The downpour flooded pastures, brought down three trees, and even caused our beautiful swimming pond to overflow. For a while, the goats had to stay tucked safely in the barn because there was simply too much standing water for them to venture out. Thankfully, the water has receded, the animals are doing well, and we’re slowly cleaning up the aftermath.

Speaking of animals, Donkers has some exciting news—he’s eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new mini donkey friend! We can’t wait to introduce them and share their adventures with all of you.

On the business side of the farm, we’ve experienced both challenges and exciting milestones. We recently attended what turned out to be our lowest-volume craft show ever. While it was disappointing, small business ownership is full of ups and downs, and we’re choosing to stay hopeful and keep moving forward. Every new customer who discovers our products means the world to us.
One exciting step forward is the opening of our Joyous Acres booth at Wally’s Antique Mall in Lake Odessa! We’re thrilled (and admittedly a little nervous) to have our products available in a new location. If you’re in the area, stop by and see us!

We’re also already thinking ahead to the holidays. Our holiday soap bars are currently being made and curing so they’ll be ready in plenty of time for gift-giving season. It’s hard to believe we’re already preparing for Christmas, but handcrafted soap takes time! Featured below is Christmas Wreath - it smells amazing!

And finally, we’re excited to announce TWO new products have joined the Joyous Acres family:
Comfort Balm – A soothing balm designed to comfort tired muscles and joints and nourish your skin.

Sugar Scrub – A gentle and luxurious exfoliating scrub featuring lavender and tea tree essential oils to leave your skin feeling soft, refreshed, and rejuvenated. Grab yours below!

Thank you for supporting our little farm through every storm, success, and new adventure. Your encouragement allows us to continue creating handcrafted products we truly love.
With gratitude and joy,
Crystal, Jeff & The Joyous Acres Herd
P.S. Keep an eye on our social media pages for updates on the new mini donkey, holiday products, and life around the farm!
